Warm air is predicted to sweep across Northern Europe and the UK at the start of next month but there will be plenty of sun until the scorching heat spike arrives

Temperatures are expected to return to 15C on Thursday but within weeks we could be baking in sweltering 30C conditions.It will be warmest in the east of England today, with the south expected to be breezy.The mercury could be set to hit 31C, meaning it could be a scorcher over the May Bank Holiday.Warm air is predicted to sweep across Northern Europe and the UK at the start of next month.
