There are a couple of interesting stories around concerning preparedness for Brexit. This, by my colleague, Rajeev Syal, says ministers do not know whether there are sufficient medicines, medical supplies or freight capacity to support the NHS if the UK leaves the EU without a deal next month, the National Audit Office has found.
And who is this ordinary man to interfere in politics. He has no more right than the homeless or sick or you or I. He is no longer an elected representative of the people he is a nobody and if he did represent the people’s views he would still be prime minister now he was sacked!
Let’s hope so!
John Major has no right to comment on this, what is wrong with the man?
Major is a turncoat who had his glory days screwing n doing diddly squat for this country now his lips are on the move he talks rubbish! The Grey Man is alive n kicking!
Where was the Supreme Court's judgement on John Major's prorogation of Parliament!
You all are idiots and The Guardian irresponsible for this headline. This can’t be done legally. But hey, have fun trying.
Good 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
The British people voted for a no deal Brexit. Get out of the EU and pick up the pieces after the separation is complete. The whole globalist experiment of the EU has flailed and it’s countries need to stand on their own again.
Good. Get it over and done with.
John Major is a Remainer. He is campaigning 100% for Remain, he is not, never has been and never claimed to be politically neutral. Just like Heseltine he is a fully paid up member of the Remain at any cost club. His views should be taken in that context.
Vote of confidence, new coalition government, including expelled Tories to take back control. No election until 2022, after remain versus coalition deal confirmatory referendum. 6 month PM terms: Corbyn, Swinson, Blackford, Lucas, Soubry, etc job done and ultra right thwarted! JD
Major was a political disaster for the conservatives.
Seems the Democratic system can be bypassed at will 😏
England in a mess....none cares...
Could’ve just filibustered it as well but didn’t want the Lords to waste their time. 😜

Boris Johnson could ignore Arcuri summons, says Tory chairman – live Brexit newsJames Cleverly suggested the PM would ignore any request by the London Assembly to answer questions about his conduct over the tech-business woman Jennifer Arcuri Boris is out of control, he lied about most Brexit facts, then he became a PM without an election and since he became PM, he’s been unsuccessful with most of his plans, he closed the Parliament for over two weeks and now using inappropriate language openly! BorisMustGo NotMyPM 😆😆 That would be an admission of guilt in my eyes. Aren’t tories always telling opponents of ctv and stop and search that if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear?

Sir John Major fears Boris Johnson’s Government could use Privy Council to bypass Brexit extension legislationSir John Major said on Thursday evening he feared Boris Johnson’s Government would try to bypass legislation requiring a Brexit extension by using an order of the Privy Council. Pot/kettle I don’t know the answer to this but has John Major brought this up because, like prorogation, he has used it himself to get out of a tight spot and then criticised others for doing the same thing. Nobody has forgive him or forgot: 1) refusing the UK public a vote on being shackled to Europe. The horrendous Maastricht treaty. 2) shutting down parliament to prevent “cash for questions” scrutiny. Proper journalists would hold him to task for his hypocrisy.
