Staff are ‘more productive, more energetic, more full of ideas’ when around colleagues, says PM in call to ‘get our city centres moving’

Boris Johnson has made a renewed call for people to return to the office, saying working from home does not work and that when he tried to do so he became distracted by making coffee and eating cheese.

That is strange because a lot of us are asking him to leave his office.

Not to mention Peppa. Boris likes Peppa.

Telling the English to work?!? 🤣🤣🤣 lays paprika tv

Why commute to London to tap on a keyboard when you can eat cheese and tap on a keyboard from home?

Why? Just let people do what they want

It's almost as if people aren't rushing back into an office because they'd rather work from home.

I get so easily distracted by coffee and cheese when I should be trying to run a country on the brink of recession

Well you’ve been going into the office Johnson and look how that’s turned out.

You don't get it do you BorisJohnson geographic boundaries have been pulled down re location of workforce, we can now employ people anywhere and allow them to work anytime.

Is he wrong about absolutely everything ?

Ha ha! The office is more productive! Good one BorisJohnson

He can naff off.

And sit on Teams calls all day with outsourced colleagues from around the world. Yeah makes sense - I'll spend petrol money I haven't got while I'm at it, just to damage the climate more too.

From a man that literally lives where he works. If their office’s we’re boozy party central perhaps they’d be more inclined to go back as well. ToryShambles ToryCorruption torycovid

We can’t afford cheese anymore BorisJohnson . I get so many more tasks completed when I’m working from home. I do enjoy being around my colleagues in the office which does motivate me, but this idea that we are all unproductive at home is simply untrue!

He's feeling the wrath of his rich friends as rental income is drying up from let properties along with depressed sales at overpriced coffee outlets and wine bars.

People became lazy during the china virus era? Or just understood the advantage of not commuting 2 hours per day?

Many businesses have found staff more productive from home. Don't fancy returning to 3 hrs travel a day on public transport where the cost of getting to the office has risen by 150% in last 2 years.

I am still struggling with the concept of Boris Johnson actually working.

Just how much commuting has he actually done?

I'll go back to the office just as soon as Johnson goes to work sober.

lol, coming from him that's a laugh. And what about honesty? He's been fired TWICE from two former bosses for lying. If anything this is him saying this to get the economic numbers up to ensure a Conservative victory in the next general election.

At least we can trust them.

Forse anche lui dovrebbe occuparsi di più dei problemi che ha creato nel suo ufficio.

I’ll tell you what will help during a cost of living crisis…commuting costs.

no.

My value is the same at-home as in-office. Why should I go back to the office?

I urge Boris Johnson to resign and book a one way ticket on one of Musk's rockets into the sun.

Vladimir Putin showing ‘barbaric aggression’ against Ukraine, Boris Johnson saysBoris Johnson has suggested that Vladimir Putin is showing 'barbaric aggression' in Ukraine, as he once again condemned the war. However, the prime minister refused to draw direct comparison between the Russian president and historical dictators, Adolf Hitler and Josef Stalin. “Leaving aside the historical parallels, you've just got to see what he's doing in Ukraine,” Mr Johnson said. “This is an act of absolutely barbaric aggression against a country that has literally done nothing to offend him, done nothing wrong.”Click here to sign up for our newsletters.
