Let’s hope they vote him out next election.

The biggest mistake they made was cancelling the exams in the first place. Most secondary schools have been shut since March. All exams could have been held with pupils 2 metres apart(like usual) using the extra classrooms and teachers while all non exam pupils were at home.

Let's hope we all vote robustly when it comes to what really matters to him then edutwitter

Like the track and trace app was world beating

This cohort were the first to sit the tougher SATS. They were the guinea pigs of the more challenging 9 to 1 GCSEs. There should have been a leap in A’level achievement from following a more rigorous education. Seems the govt trusts its curriculum less than it does teachers.

Dream snatcher johnson Blather and bluster whilst Starmer quietly and calmly nails him.

Calling all disenfranchised ALevel students BorisJohnson & his corrupt Governmemt have stolen your future You will be able to Vote in the next GeneralElection Join the UKLabour, help shape the future of the party that, with your help can KickTheToriesOut ReclaimYourFuture

Just shows yet again he’s got no clue, no interest in details. Ignorant and entitled.

Covid brain damage.

Teflon Boris

I wonder how many children or grandchildren of MP's had there results reduced substantially? I wonder whether he cares if they indeed did, and if he's told them that their results are robust?

Boris has lost it!

What a ludicrous comment from a PM who has no clue

I’m so over Boris frigging Johnson I want a General Election

He would,would n't he?

Yes Boris, the Results are as'robust' as the discipline at Eton College - a school with the notorious 'Eton Bullingdon club' - known for its .... boisterous rituals, bad behaviour, including vandalism of restaurants & students' rooms.Eton AlevelResults Brexit Boris bullying

Lies from a professional liar.

He is a joke. He will lie and say anything in order to save face. He's failing us all!

I've made my decision. Time to move on. Get Brexit Done. Oven ready deal. No border in Northern Ireland. Blah blah. Latin something or other.

Robust? Oh dear. There’s thousands of students who’ve got a higher further maths grade than their regular maths grade, which is nonsense.

Liar

Arrogance personified BorisHasFailedUK BorisJohnsonMustGo

Our political system is bankrupt serving only the interests of the super rich.Indeed it is they who now run the country replacing the civil service with political marketing companies,no accountability, absolute and sovereign power fronted by sociopaths

Literally though, what does he actually know about any of this? Really.

As robust and dependable as his response to Covid...

Your grade were most likely not reduced if you: Went to an independent school Have an Asian surname. Have a double-barrelled surname Live in a recently turned blue Tory ‘red wall’ seat.

I’m looking forward to 2024 when the votes come in. All the GCSE students will be old enough to vote and the A Level students won’t be old enough to have forgotten today.

Trump playbook. Surely you all know this by now. Deny, lie, divert attention.

People if you are not happy, then sign this petition set up by a student, although he has done well, he is fighting for those who have been badly downgraded, after their predicted grades have been ignored!

I wish we could shrug him off!

justthinking03 ‘World beating’ I should think...

EdnaUnwelthorpe Unlike our beloved dictator to shrug things off 🤔

He’s an absolute bastard isn’t he ☹️☹️☹️

I knew *you* would Johnson

For a man who ignores and will not publish 65000+ deaths this is a piece of cake. His party members will hardly complain as the local private schools have come out so well.

Such a clear statement from BorisJohnson must surely mean the U turn is imminent. Let hope so given the truly awful examples being reported today.

He means the results are world beating.

Yes, the same prime minister that dismissed United Nations report that treatment of Sick/disabled people in the UK was crimes against humanity. The damage to our young people now and in the future is going to be catastrophic, we are being ruined by these cruel & clueless ejits 🤓

The blatant corruption going on in this government is astonishing

Thought I couldn’t get much crosser about this government. Turns out I was wrong 😡 I hope CommonsEd are all over this when parliament reconvenes.

Clearly Eaton’s predicted grades have held.

Avery day thats go bye and I'm reading about this incompetent guy I really can't understand how UK voters must be stupid to vote him in Can someone explain me how that happened plizzzzz

Not robust when the algorithm adjusts this year's results based on kids from prior years' results. Different teachers, different kids, different courses. Why not trust the professional teachers' assessments unless there is evidence of deliberate malpractice? They know their kids.

The algorithm used for the results is laughable. My son was downgraded from his predicted grades and we will be appealing.

Goodbye Red Wall

Did he take the test

So Boris why don't you for once in your inept life say sorry for this latest debacle. Your government is not fit too govern you have lied your way too where you are and it's an injustice we have a pm who thinks more about stupid quotes than doing his job properly.

Yes because he knows his mates’/funders’ kids at private schools (maybe even his own!) got the results they wanted

“Robust” has been downgraded to “bust”.

Is it because he's a total dick?

He's a walking disaster in a moment when the Country needs leadership most.

Robustly unfair and discriminatory

Through no fault of their own, anyone with results from 2020 is going to be affected by the stigma of this. I hope employers and uni's will be considerate towards them. The fact that an appeals process is not even in place yet is appalling.

How long before the PM does a U-turn? BorisJohnson AlevelResults

Shrugged off Vote Leave lies. Shrugged off Russia Report Shrugged off Cummings Lockdown Larks Shrugged off PPE millions Shrugged off his last wife and lord knows how many of his kids. He's a shrugger rugger bugger!

How would HE know, Eton-ed through the system? And 'public' schools benefited anyway, perpetuating the ruling class.

Meanwhile his party north of the border are demanding Swinney's resignation for exactly the same system....

Why has the standardisation abandoned its own remit of ensuring that centres' grades were in line with previous years? Which centres were targetted for downgrading, why were they, and which other centres reaped the reward?

🤦🏽‍♂️ none of them have a clue!

Strang how he criticises the Scottish First Minister for doing this and then he does exactly the same himself. At least Sturgeon had the sense to apologise and put it right, Scottish and Welsh students now have an advantage over their English counterparts when applying for Uni.

I hate the word ‘robust’ politicians love it and it usually means what they are describing is flawed or broken.

REMEMBER: The media & Politicians, like, OUTRAGE & CHAOS. - To all the students receiving their Results: Congratulations & don't Panic. If you didn't get the results you wanted there are lots of options available to you: - Talk to your parents & teachers - Ignore the media

I think he is also 'in a job where the person will be underqualified.'

Where’s my .....

Yeah sure. What about CannonHinnat ?

As dependable as his character. AlevelResults

One of Boris Johnson's predictions is being re-shared because he couldn't have been more wrongBoris Johnson isn't exactly famous for his honesty.  The prime minister's fluid relationship with the truth was a point of much contention at the last general election.  But it turns out that his truth and the Tory's aren't natural bedfellows the same is true for most pollical parties a sad view but an honest one ☝️😷😡 Well, this pandemic is unprecedented so think on, our country was doing really well before this Would have been but for the Corona Virus pandemic ...still tweeting your bullshit for Moscow then 🤔🙄
