Prime minister again refuses to apologise for his adviser, saying it is time to ‘move on’

Boris Johnson has again refused to apologise for breaches of coronavirus lockdown rules by Dominic Cummings, telling a committee of senior MPs that political bickering was to blame for any confusion over distancing rules, rather than the actions of his chief adviser.

Johnson the Jackase! Bumbling fool, not one coherent answer and he didn't even know some of his own policies. A national embarrassment.

Maybe “asked reasonable questions by MP’s to which he had no answer, prepared or otherwise” rather than “grilled by MP’s”. He’s not been kebabbed.

And Mr Johnson gave..'A Half Baked Response'.. [so sorry could not resist 😀😀

More obfuscation, more contempt and little contrition. If Johnson believes this is all about a political squabble, he clearly hasn't understood the anger and upset of the electorate. Cummings BREACHED his own guidelines, and broke public trust of healthcare messaging.

So is he saying it is fine for us all to drive to Durham? Got it.

He was poor!

Watched the grilling I am still at a loss why PM does not use HOC process. There is a process for Independent checking. PM admits he has seen evidence. He is VERY busy. DELEGATE the verifying of evidence so HE can MOVE on.Investigation takes place & outcome published.

Annoying and unprofessional of BorisJohnson to seek assistance, a prompt and/or support during Q’s at the CommonsLiaison LiaisonCommitte today. Without Zoom I’m sure it wouldn’t be allowed. He really can’t stand on his own as leader can he? It wasn’t a casual FaceTime call!

And all you people who criticize are experts now and could answer more eloquently when asked anything? Err, no, you're not!

Pure waffle!

Poor show BorisJohnson JamesCleverly

Great response. I defy anyone answering questions off the cuff to pause and yes bluster. But there again we are all perfect aren't we.

Yet again he mislead his colleagues over the level of testing. He again repeated the erroneous statement that the UK is testing more than any other European country. A statement that has repeatedly been demonstrated as untrue. BorisMustFall

Excellent. That's a democratic country. Something which we Indian couldn't think of in a recent time

Next he will be lightly broiled, barbequed, toasted, liquidised.... oh you get the idea....

*For 25% of the time. The other 75% was about important issues.
