James Cleverly suggested the PM would ignore any request by the London Assembly to answer questions about his conduct over the tech-business woman Jennifer Arcuri

Earlier this week the London Assembly wrote to Johnson giving him 14 days to respond to the allegations about Jennifer Arcuri. The letter from Len Duvall chair of the London Assembly oversight committee, said: I read with concern the allegations set out in the Sunday Times yesterday that, when you held the office of Mayor of London, you failed to declare a potential conflict of interest in relation to the awarding of public funds to Jennifer Arcuri.

He will ignore it...we saw last night that his only response to the question was to blame Sadiq Khan for police cuts...

Sorry, but is anyone surprised?! He is a dangerous, petulant Trump impersonator governed by a man who has anger management issues and is due for an operation in hospital at the beginning of November. Therefore perhaps angrier than usual.

If Jobnson refuses to attend he will be following his puppet master Cummings by being 'in contemp'. The flagrant disregard for the law and the responsibilities of politicians to not abuse the public's money and be held to account are dangerous precedents that the PM is setting.

They dredged this up for malicious purposes. Bottom feeders the lot of em. Makes em feel important digging the dirt.

just get on with a general election, let the people decide if they vote labour they vote remain, if they vote TheTories they are voting to leave simple, done dusted stop wasting tax payers money stop speaking for the people, it’s getting boring! BrexitChaos bullshitbrexit

Who gives a flying flamingo what Mr Johnson thinks he can do? NB rhetorical question!

Tory is descending into dishonest tyrant group.

That would be an admission of guilt in my eyes. Aren’t tories always telling opponents of ctv and stop and search that if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear?

Boris is out of control, he lied about most Brexit facts, then he became a PM without an election and since he became PM, he’s been unsuccessful with most of his plans, he closed the Parliament for over two weeks and now using inappropriate language openly! BorisMustGo NotMyPM

Opinion: Boris Johnson deserves his humiliating Supreme Court rulingAs parliament prepares to get back to work after a surreal prorogation that ‘never happened’, the Supreme Court’s utter demolition of a cynical government is something to savour Does he show disrespect for the Supreme Court? 'I strongly disagree with this judgement, and we will not be deterred from getting on and delivering on the will of the people to come out of the EU on 31 October' Legal political bias by 11 judges does not constitute humiliation. Gina Miller and co are humiliated by Boris’s power to fight for right whatever. The people are for him. He will reign supreme. We will leave EU 31.10.2019 Humpty Dumpty springs to mind
