The prime minister apologises for any 'misunderstanding' after he dismissed an MP who spoke of death threats as 'humbug'.

It follows claims that the American entrepreneur received public money and privileged access to foreign trade missions while Mr Johnson was London mayor.

"Everything was done in accordance with the code and everything was done with full propriety... there was no interest to declare," he insisted. Mr Johnson ruled out an election pact with Nigel Farage's Brexit Party, insisting the Conservatives"don't do deals with other parties". The Tories previously spent five years in a coalition with the Lib Dems and entered a confidence and supply agreement with the Democratic Unionist Party in 2017 to prop up the government.

In an interview with Sky's Sophy Ridge on Sunday, Mr Farage predicted the Tories' majority could shoot up 100 seats if the pair did a deal.- admitting:"I should have said we'll take the axe to Whitehall - axe would have been a better term."

And so he is. The perfect Gent. BritishIndependence

He is much less offensive than the front bench of the opposition and the some of the labour women mp’s are like fishwives.

KayBurley No amount of lies and misrepresentation by Sky news and rest of the Remainer losers will make their lies about BorisJohnson of Brexit true. The People are more savvy now. Your unfounded assertions have no credibility or effect on public opinion. Hack gutterpress

KayBurley He certainly is. All other MP’s should watch and learn.

KayBurley

He’s not wrong 🤷‍♀️

No one cares what you think because we all know Sky, BBC & CH4 are all anti Brexit

KayBurley He would. Self serving narcissist.

It's great Boris is showing restraint in the face of a barrage of particularly nasty and unfair Labour/opposition verbal abuse

KayBurley He was better behaved than all the opposition benches. I watched all of the debates, not just selected snippets and he was under constant attack for all that time. He says one wrong word and then it’s all his fault, not a fair reflection of the truth

KayBurley If only

Pfft. He is the Very model of a Modern Major Generalissimo.

Keep doing what your doing Boris But I won't promise to restrain my language a traitor is a traitor

No idea what moderation is .Repeat Repeat the same mantra fascism at its finest.

KayBurley I don’t know how he can be so patient and restrained in that disgraceful Common

MexicoRS78 Yes he is.. The best pm ever

A lot of MPs understandably worry about their safety, but suggesting those who abuse them are just parroting the PMs words could be missing the point, that maybe a lot of people have come to those conclusions independently. Just wish the small number would stop the threats!

Right now BorisJohnson is the archangel Gabriel, jeremycorbyn is Satan and this is how Brexit Britain view's these two right now.

If Boris Johnson wants to 'Get Brexit Done' he must take big decisionsSo after a week in which the Brexit debate hit banshee-levels of outrage on both sides, it has also been possible to hear the first rumblings of compromise from deep within Boris Johnson’s government. I hope that the liar is booted out as soon as possible. He is not fit to hold public office and is a disgrace to the UK. Well he is restricted in his negotiations by those MPs waving the white flag of surreder. You should ask Mr Cummings...but you won't.
