COMMENT: 'Boris Johnson must not rely on desires to 'get Brexit done' to glue his New Tory coalition'

THIS is Boris Johnson’s victory. He ran the most personal election campaign in recent history. On the campaign trail, it was him hammering home the Tory message every day., he even took the unprecedented step of agreeing to two head-to-head debates with the leader of the Opposition.

It was also because he wanted to make clear that his Premiership would be different from the nine years of Tory rule that had gone before. I understand from one of those close to the Prime Minister that he intends to treat this majority government as the real beginning of his Premiership, with his past 100-odd days in the job treated as a transition between the old Tory government and this new era.and a fear of Corbyn

This New Tory Government must improve the lot of these places. In the long term, that will involve building better physical and digital infrastructure. But things need to be done now too.isn’t visibly better in four years’ time, we’ll be in trouble.”

New Tory coalition that’s confused me I thought the Tory party had won a massive majority on a leave the EU manifesto? Can’t see mp’s going against that after what happened to the last mp’s to vote against the party whip!!

He said ALL his candidates are for leaving so who are the Tory MP remainers
