Comedian Bob Saget revealed in an interview in May 2021 how he had come to accept mortality after many of his family members had died. He said that as a child many of his aunts, uncles and cousins died almost every two years, and he learned from his father to continue living. Saget explained how his father gave a eulogy for one of his brothers, which helped him come to terms with death.
Saget also lost both of his sisters, including his sister Gay in 1994 to scleroderma - an autoimmune disease - which he took up fundraising for in the aftermath. The interview was recorded in May 2021, and the first part was released on Monday, as Radio Rahim noted Saget liked to stay in the moment.
