BBC Breakfast weather star Carol Kirkwood dished on her three meetings with Her Majesty during a special segment which saw her present live from the Buckingham Palace gardens

The weather expert presented her forecasting segment live from Buckingham Palace on Wednesday's BBC Breakfast (June 1) - ahead of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations which kick off later this week.The Platinum Jubilee celebrations are set to honour 70 years of Her Majesty's service to the country, and it will see Brits enjoy a four-day weekend from Thursday.

It's been a busy year already for Scottish weather star Carol, 60, as last week she told viewers she was happily engaged.However, charismatic Carol is already back on our screens to tell BBC viewers all about what conditions they can expect from the days ahead - and this week she was on royal turf.
