It was 11pm on Sunday when Amy Fenton realised she needed to leave Barrow-in-Furness – and fast. She woke up her five-year-old, grabbed a few toys and bundled her in the car to flee the Cumbria town she has called home for the last 12 years. A police officer had called to say they had assessed dozens of threats made against her over the previous few days and thought there was now a credible risk to not just her life but her child’s too.
So, here are some facts for you. She is friends with, in fact more than friends with the alleged ringleader of the paedo gang. As is her editor. The article she slated the poor abused girl in is factually incorrect, she was arrested for breaking bail nothing else,
She brings most of it on herself and then sobs to whoever will listen
Whilst threats to her and her child safety are deplored, Fenton has form she takes most her reports from FB and Twitter and regularly goes against people wishes not to give her a story. She has certainly fanned the flames herself in this case .

Having read said article on your platform, I believe you are misinformed by ‘Amy Fenton’. She ‘reported’ the accused from said post with their story.... before even a mention about the original social media post. That’s what Barrow are angry about 🤔
Barrow is my home town and sadly non of this surprises me, glad to have left the place 35 years ago.

I have no respect for this woman after her stories over the last few years but people who threaten violence and death against her and her daughter are bang out of order.
This is really badly written.
People respect integrity - until it threatens to expose the dark underbelly of their own lives.
hmm come to think of it,..maybe we should burn barrow down .................as justice for all the gangraped kids !!..................i wonder how much of a sympathetic tone the media would strike if we did !!.........something tells me there would be zippo sympathetic tones !!
