Let's just forget about people like my nurse wife were getting more than double her pay for some shifts and with half of most hospital wards closed lots did not have much to do as you can't just dump an orthopedic ward nurse in a high care ward.

Nurses strike fund the same amount Captain Tom raised for the NHS. Good job our fighting forces never went on strike in WW2. Shame on our nurses if they strike in the middle of a war.

No, it doesn't. Except with you lot...

Nurses who believed Johnson cared about them join fishermen who believed him over brexit. Deluded fools!

This is easy to relate to at BOPDHB

OK, I’m a bit crap at maths but...if you take the £350 million/week that Boris and Gove promised the nation they’d give to the NHS, then you could give everyone who works there a bonus of £14,000 this year. Sounds fair to me.

Anger amongst greedy people wanting others who've seen their livelihoods destroyed to somehow cough up and give them a pay rise. Obscene. Guardian still taking taxpayers money for furlough too.

👏 😬

WilVoitus Aye. It should. 11 years of Tory cuts year on year NHS cuts including mental health. Our NHS system was not for profit nor for enabling the profiteering of the services but an statement of who we are as a nation. Turns out money grubbing b.....ds at highest level selling it off!

An NHSStrike will be supported by the vast majority of the working class - the rich have gotten richer throughout the pandemic, and workers' have both died and paid for the massive handouts

Why is everyone surprised by this offer?come on get real give your heads a shake!! Never going to offer 10%.or anything like this. Tory goverment hate working class hate NHS.wake up !!!!!

Most welcome precious people

Whilst I agree they deserve more for what they do. 1% is more than the rest of us will be getting 🤔

Many of us haven’t been paid for a year, no pay, no NI, no pension contributions. Why should NHS get a pay rise?

SHAMEFUL

How much did the government give themselves a pay rise, last year ? Bet it was more than 1% ...... The nurses should go on strike, demanding the same pay rise the government got last year ... ... these poor nurses are on the front line fighting this covid-19...

Anger grows at billions of debt which will need to be paid back by tax payers, millions of whom will receive 0% pay rise this year.

Insulting. If it’s not a fair % don’t offer anything at all.

how about a 1% decrease for politicians for the next 20 years?

What, why But we even clapped?!

Couple of months ago I came across a recommendation about DennisWilliam56 wealth how he helped investors to earn lots of money with their investments. and I decided to give a trial with the little I have. Now my little has turned into something great which was not my expectation
