Anger as Poland plans law that will stop Jews reclaiming wartime homes

In the coming weeks, a new law is expected to pass its final stages in the Polish parliament that will set a 30-year time limit on legal challenges over confiscated properties, in effect axing thousnds of claims.

Can we keep the same energy for the Palestinians or not?...

1. There are people living in those houses now. They often moved in decades after WW2, knowing nothing about the claims. Where will they go? 2. Many people in Poland lost their property. War was 75 years ago. Time to close the book and move on.

Greedy, After WW1 & WW2 the UN passed international law that if after a major war, the victims or displaced people may seek nationality of the country they have settled in. Israel illegally claim Palestine for the entire Jewish Population. Why wanting old homes. 1 or the other!😡

Poland didn’t start the war and the it was heavily destroyed during it. Also Western Europe left Poland in the hands of soviets, who forced Poland to basically resign from receiving war compensations from Germany and made a law that a lot of assets became property of the state.

Poland has a long and rich history of anti-Semitism and were quite keen to help the Nazis carry out their 'Final Solution'. So this is, unfortunately, very much in character.
