And this year the retailer has gone even bigger, by announcing the arrival of a huge two metre long pig in blanket, measuring in at 6ft 5.The delicious festive sausage, which is coiled into a swirl so it's easy to cook, will have Aldi shoppers filling their trolleys this season, with it costing just £5.
An Aldi spokesperson said: “We Brits love a good Pig in Blanket, but there never seems to be quite enough to go around the Christmas table.The pig in blanket is part of Aldi’s SpecialBuys range, meaning you have to be quick when heading to the shops as they’ll only be available for a limited time while stock lasts.The retailer will be selling a shimmery candy cane gin liqueur, salted caramel mince pies, and Morello cherry Christmas pudding.
