myself and my partner had been together around 6 weeks when he wanted to introduce his 2 girls to me.
His ex partner said we had to wait at least 6 months. She then allowed me to meet them once with her there. It went really well and we got in great. Then when we’d arranged for a day out with just us and them she changed her mind, stopped him from even speaking to his girls on the phone and we’ve had to apply for court hearings to gain access to his kids. We live together now and have booked our wedding for next year and have just bought our first house together. My kids adore him.
If your partner is serious about this woman then you can’t stop the inevitable. Maybe allow them to meet for a few hours somewhere public? I haven’t said no, I’ve said it’s too soon especially since he has never even had her overnight and he wants her first overnight experience to involve this new person? I’m sorry I don’t agree with it! He hasn’t made our daughter his priority it’s been this new girl every time since meeting her. He hasn’t bothered with our daughter every weekend since he got with her using not having any service on his phone as an excuse.
