Adele reveals nerves ahead of opening night of rescheduled Vegas residency: 'I feel a million miles away from home'

"Maybe it's because it's opening night, maybe it's because Hyde Park went so great, maybe its because I love the show I don't know. But it's safe to say I've never been more nervous before a show in my career, but at the same time I wish today was tomorrow! I can't wait to see you out there x."

Ahead of the original opening date in January, Adele released a tearful video telling fans the show had been"absolutely destroyed" by delivery delays and coronavirus and so had to be called off.She said her production team had tried"absolutely everything" but it had been"impossible".

Following a break, Adele returned to the public eye towards the end of 2021 with the single Easy On Me and her fourth album 30, which has now beenHer set at the British Summer Time festival in Hyde Park was her first public UK concert in five years, following her headline set on the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury in 2016.
