"As a result four arrests were made by officers and we supported licensees who chose to close their own premises.Central London's Soho area remains crowded as a busy night continues:A pub in Nottinghamshire says it has been forced to close on the first day of re-opening due to"irresponsible behaviour".The decision was taken by the pub for the health and safety of staff, it added.
The landlord of the premises decided to close the business for the evening to prevent further incidents of disorder, the force added.
In Soho, London, Jason Farrell says people have mostly ignored social distancing."They're not observing the two-metre rule - they're not even observing the one-metre-plus rule".
Once at Borough Market, however, he described the area as"exceptionally busy" with queues not socially-distanced, people"bunched up, arms around each other". He added that one person hugged his camera man and knocked the camera over, saying there was"quite a drunken feel" and many people"not really willing to observe social distancing".
Landlord Ray Perkins says they probably had 100 people in today, adding:"it could have been worse" and they will be back for Sunday lunch tomorrow.

My parents /family members who has been working in the wards in long hours shifts, wearing protective gears and masks even in hot conditions since lockdown started. Clapping for NHS staff every Thursdays, To now see the hypocrisy of these people with no social distancing! 😷💔💔
