CORONATION STREET fans can expect another drama filled Christmas on the cobbles as Fiz Brown star Jennie McAlpine drops a huge hint on whether viewers should prepare to say goodbye to a beloved Weatherfield resident.

Coronation Street bosses are making sure Christmas in Weatherfield will be jam-packed with explosive scenes and shocking revelations. There are a number of dramatic storylines that could come to a head during the festive season and some of the cast have even hinted that this could be the last Christmas for one character.

Fiz Brown (played by Jennie McAlpine) returned to the ITV soap last month after leaving the cobbles to get support for daughter, Hope (Isabella Flanagan).
Before she left, Fiz discovered Hope was responsible for a few alarming incidents and realised she needed to get her daughter some help.
However the mother and daughter duo hadn’t been back on the Street for too long before Hope was back to causing trouble.
The young girl started a fire at the Underworld factory and then lied about how the blaze started.

Viewers have watched Fiz reach out to tutor Jade Rowan (Lottie Henshall) in a bid to put a stop to Hope’s worrying behaviour.
However it appears Hope’s actions are only getting worse.
Coronation Street star Jennie has now revealed fans are set for explosive scenes over the festive season.
She told the Daily Star: “I’ve read the script for Christmas Eve. It’s quite dramatic.

“I’m not sure if I’ll be getting any turkey this year. Fiz is going to be quite busy!”
Could Hope’s worrying behaviour be to blame for Fiz’s “dramatic” Christmas?
Jennie then hinted one character could be waving goodbye to the cobbles at the end of the year.
She continued: “I can’t say if anyone dies. If I told someone that, I’d have to kill them!”

Discussing the Christmas episodes, Jenny Bradley star Sally Ann Matthews revealed fans will see several storylines play out.
Sally remarked: “I’ve just received scripts for Christmas. What can I say it’s beyond dramatic.

She continued: “We usually have feel good Christmas episodes.
“And this year it certainly starts off that way.”
However the Coronation Street actress revealed there will be plenty of twists and turns too.
