If everyone’s reads the whole article (not that anything in Dailymail resembles accuracy) the test the patient’s were given before being released from quarantine wrongly showed they had recovered, when they were actually were still infected.

It just means they never really recovered, or that a negative test in between lead to a false outcome. Also: how sick had they been originally? If you're positive, but not to a point where your immune system is kicked into action, I don't find it strange you test positive 'again'
New virus, we do not know the mode of infection. Some time the body produce long term antibodies and some time it produce short term antibodies where the infection can happen again.
