Amy Childs got into a heated discussion with her boyfriend, Billy Delbosq on Sunday night's episode of The Only Way Is Essex.

In the episode, Amy, 32, and Billy, 37, got into a heated discussion after he surprised her in the Dominican Republic as she filmed part of the latest series of the ITVBe show.

While Amy appreciated Billy's efforts to get out to the Dominican Republic, it wasn't long before the pair started having a frank discussion about their relationship, admitting it has been "so s**t between us" for the "last eight weeks".

In the conversation, the on-off pair traded blows, with Billy accusing Amy of stepping back once she gets a reaction from him about a relationship.

But the biggest bombshell was when Amy revealed Billy had been texting another girl and invited her back to his house with his friends one week when the pair were not together.

Starting the chat, Amy said: "I think I'm still in shock because I never expected you to come out here for our one year anniversary. I know you said our year anniversary would be amazing, but did I ever think it would be you coming out here? No."

Billy replied: "I wanted to be around you, I wanted to see you", before Amy added: "Just lately it has been so s**t between us both, like, completely."

It was then where Billy confronted Amy over her actions, saying: "It has. You try and push them buttons so much to take it to that next level, to try and get that reaction from me, but once you get that reaction, that's when you step back then.

"You've won, you've got that reaction, and, for me, that makes me feel s**t, makes me feel a bit low, and that's not fair.

"I know we've done things to each other, we've said things, it's not been ideal, it's not been the greatest."

Amy responded: "Yeah, you know, listen, me and you, we've been very up and down the last eight weeks. Me and your relationship has been shit, hand on my heart it's been a shit."

She then dropped the bombshell on the show, saying: "You messaging another girl, for me, was probably the hardest thing I've had to go through in a relationship. do you know what I mean? I know your reasons, we weren't together that week because we were on and off."

Billy tried answering back, saying: "That's what I'm saying to you, there was f*** all in it. You're saying you want to be with me, then you don't, then you do, then you don't."

Amy continued: "Thing is though, if I was off with you, and you said to me "I can't be with you, anyway", I would never be thinking about sticking it with another guy."

Billy responded "Yeah, did I stick it on her? No", but Amy said: "I've seen the messages, you invited her back with your mates, absolutely fine, fair enough what you do - that is not acceptable in a relationship, because I would never do that to you."

Billy then came clean, saying: "And I held my hands up. I'm feeling like you don't want the relationship, you're telling me it's done, we're over.

"And that's what we was, we was done. I'm not a cheat. I don't go out there and do that."

But despite the texts, Amy says she still trusts Billy - even though she has a seed of doubt - responding: "I genuinely, hand on my heart, I do trust you, but it's just like a little seed in my head still that I've got that, do you know what I mean?
