A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged in connection with a fire at a nursery.
The incident took place on the evening of Saturday, June 25, at Gavinburn Early Learning and Childcare Centre in Old Kilpatrick.
Significant damage caused by the blaze has resulted in the nursery being closed for two days, June 27 and 28.
Meanwhile, the nearby Gavinburn Primary School remained unaffected.
Officers confirmed today that they had charged the youth.
They had previously made an urgent appeal to the public to report anti-social behaviour after the fire was deemed deliberate.
A report will be submitted to the Scottish Children's Reporter Administration.
