A final climatic night of ITV's The Games (May 13) saw Love Island's Wes Nelson crowned the winner, while Eurovision commentator Chelcee Grimes won gold as the top female.
With drama on the previous episode, which saw Phoenix Gulzar-Brown and Rebecca
Sarker venting their frustrations at Christine McGuinness and Chelcee for overtaking the derny bike, the final instalment of the show was filled with tension.
Tonight saw the celebrities take on speed climbing, women's powerlifting and the final 100m race. Phoenix clinched victory in the climbing with commentator Chris Kamara calling her performance 'not textbook but brilliant'.
Wes was once again the favourite for the men but faced fierce competition from Josh Herdman, beating him by less than a second.

In the women's powerlifting, Christine shone during training but it was Rebecca who won after initially recording a no lift in the first round.
With the celebrities being close on points, the final 100m race was crucial for deciding the winner. Especially for the women where Chelcee and Phoenix enjoyed a lively competition which occasionally spilled over into a fierce rivalry.
In the end, it was Chelcee who won the race and came first overall amongst the women, finishing in style with a shoutout to Usain Bolt and Chris Kamara cheering on her performance. "She's compact, she's strong and she's a pocket rocket," he said.

Chelcee and Wes eventually took their respective first places (followed by Ryan Thomas and Phoenix Gulzar-Brown in second and Josh Herdman and Rebecca Sarker in third). Wes, Chelcee and Josh were declared the combined winners, with Wes being the highest-scoring athlete on 45 points.
However, it was Colson Smith who won everyone over on the show. Freddie Flintoff and Holly Willoughby declared Colson the winner in their hearts, while Olympic gold medalist Daley Thompson highlighted his resilience in learning how to swim.
Wes also gave a shoutout to Colson as well, dedicating his combined winners trophy to him as the celebration ceremony came to a close. He said: "The biggest journey and the biggest transformation has been Colson, he deserves this trophy.
"He has been an absolute credit to this whole competition and has been an inspiration to all of us. All the guys have been absolutely incredible, we've made friends for life."
The Games airs on ITV.
