Kylie Jenner has finally given us an update on the name of her baby boy, whom she welcomed on 2nd February with boyfriend Travis Scott.

Usually, baby names are pretty set in stone – we'd go so far as to guess 99% of the time, once the infant's name has been announced, there's no going back.

Parents Kylie and Travis apparently account for that other 1%, after doing a surprise U-turn on the name of their newborn baby son – whom they initially named Wolf, announcing the baby name in an Instagram Story less than a week after sharing the news of his birth – and then changing their minds.

“FYI our son's name isn't Wolf anymore. We just really didn’t feel like it was him. Just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf everywhere," wrote the 24-year-old businesswoman and influencer.

Anyway, none of that matters anymore because Kylie has now divulged her son's proper, real, actual name for the first time. And, it might surprise you to hear, that it's… well, still Wolf.

Yep. After all that, in the latest episode of The Kardashians, the billionaire business mogul revealed that she hadn't actually changed her son's name yet, but teased a possible reveal in the next season of the show.

She said: "This year has been very transformative for me. There's so many amazing things that I'm really excited about.

"To hang out with my babies and really dive into my work. My baby's name is still Wolf. I'll let you guys know when I change it. Maybe I'll tell you guys in season three."

Ok, so it's perhaps not the big reveal we were hoping for, but it's more concrete than anything we've had before.

Back in May, the Kardashian-Jenner clan were all in Portofino for the wedding of Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Scott (although the pair actually officially tied the knot a few weeks ago), and while posting some pics she took with her daughter Stormi ahead of the lavish ceremony - held at L'Olivetta, a villa owned by Dolce & Gabbana - Kylie added the caption: "just me, storm, and coconut traveling the world together."

And of course, people immediately hopped into the comment section to question who the hell Coconut might be. At the time, some fans suspected that she and Travis had settled on the name Coco or Coconut for their son.

“So Wolf is now Coconut ? I’m living," wrote one, while another added: "HIS NAME IS COCONUT?"

"Yo did she name her son Coco" wondered a third fan.

"I think the doll's name is coconut" one follower pointed out, while another said: ""Coconut is the Barbie doll in Stormi's hand."

Kylie first shared the news that she'd given birth on Instagram back in February with a black-and-white photograph of her four-year-old daughter Stormi clutching her newborn baby's wrist, a blue heart, and a caption “2/2/22”, to mark the cool AF date that she gave birth. Yup – as if being born into the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty wasn't enough, Wolf gets an awesome birthday to write on forms forever more.

This is Kylie Jenner's second child with her partner Travis Scott, 30, whom she got back together with last year after an on-off relationship that first began in April 2017. The pair had Stormi back in February 2018.

Kylie announced her pregnancy with the pair's second child by sharing a video of a positive pregnancy test back on Instagram back in September last year. She then shared clips of members of her family reacting to the news, including mum Kris Jenner, daughter Stormi and Travis.
