Fashion queen Victoria Beckham brought her sense of style to the sea on Tuesday as she set sail with her family on their £5m superyacht in Miami.

The Spice Girl went back to her Posh roots as she modelled a slinky little black dress for her day at sea, putting on a leggy display as she relaxed on board with husband David and their children Romeo, 19, Cruz, 17 and Harper, 10 along with Romeo's model girlfriend Mia Regan, 19. 

Victoria looked typically chic in her boat ensemble, just days after her 48th birthday.

Posh continued her look with oversized sunglasses while chatting away with their guests aboard the vessel, named Seven.

Also in attendance was nightlife mogul David Grutman, who recently watched Brooklyn exchange vows with Nicola Peltz in Florida's Palm Beach.

It was reported last year that David had 'treated himself' to the the luxury vessel which he helped design after being inspired by his maritime jaunts with Elton John and David Furnish - who often holiday at sea.

In the summer, David was spotted at an Italian shipyard Ferretti's HQ in Forli where he perused the yachts and now the footballer is enjoying his new purchase with his loved ones.

A source told The Sun in December: 'David had a look around some yachts in the summer, and decided to treat himself. He helped design the boat himself, and has been incredibly hands-on with everything.

'It’s not an oligarch-style super-yacht, but it’s still pretty plush by anyone’s standards. He was inspired after holidaying with Elton and David on their boat - and loves life on the water.

'There will be an area for the kids to snorkel, and the boat will be a brilliant base for the whole Beckham clan to have magical holidays abroad.'

David proudly named his vessel after his iconic shirt number he wore for six years while playing for Manchester United, he also wore the number seven for international games for England.

Seven also has a special meaning for the David and Victoria as it is also the middle name of their daughter Harper.

The craft can accommodate up to 10 guests in five staterooms, with four crew members on board ready to serve the famous family's every need.

The yacht has a cruising speed of 20 knots and goes up to a top speed of 30 knots, while it can travel a distance of 300 nautical miles without the need to refuel.

The stunning vessel boasts an extended swim platform, beach deck and has two engines which generate 2,400 horsepower each.

Alberto Galassi, chief executive of boat-maker Ferretti said of David's new purchase: 'There’s so much steel on this boat — and glass. We are surrounded by glass. It’s sort of a little crystal palace.'

He continued: 'We sell emotions, we sell pleasure, we sell entertainment, we sell a good time, we don’t sell boats. We sell a pleasant way of living.'

Victoria celebrated her big day with a lavish bash at a swanky sushi restaurant in Miami, which she shared with her fans on Instagram on Monday.

The fashionista donned a stylish white suit from her own range for the party which she attended with husband David, their sons Romeo, Cruz, and daughter Harper, 10.

Surprised by her pal David at the Sushi Fly Chicken restaurant, Victoria was greeted with a seven-tiered cake adorned with candles at the celebration, after her proud husband David paid tribute on her birthday with a slew of social media posts.

For her birthday Victoria indulged in a dinner of sushi from a personalised menu, including baked crab, sesame soba noodle and fly chicken.

Opting against a glamorous new gown, she opted to don a stylish white blazer and matching trousers from her own range, with an eye-watering price tag of £2,260.

Her pal Dave shared a slew of snaps and videos from the party showcasing the lavish decor, with the restaurant covered in purple and pink balloons, as well as gold inflatable letters to mimic her initials.

The star was greeted with a troupe of dancers brandishing sparklers, Victoria's seven-tiered cake was then unveiled to her clear delight.

Along with capturing the occasion for her social media, Victoria paused to blow out the candle on her enormous cake, greeted with a tunderous reception from her friends and family.

Sharing a gallery of snaps from the evening, Victoria wrote: 'Such a special birthday celebrating with my family and close friends. I love you so much @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #harperseven

It comes after Victoria's husband David shared a slew of gushing birthday tributes, including a throwback snap from their son Brooklyn's wedding in his vintage $500,000 Jaguar.

The footballer flooded his Stories with a gallery of images including a snap of the lavish car he gifted Brooklyn for his big day, joking he 'should have kept it.'

David shared a snap behind the wheel of the $500,000 1954 Jaguar with Victoria, writing: 'Should have kept this car it's soooo good @lunazdesign please make me one. Happy Birthday mama @victoriabeckham.'

The sportsman shared another loved-up selfie of his wife as they enjoyed a celebratory date night, writing: 'Happy Birthday to my dinner date.'

David also proudly showed his appreciation for Victoria's famously toned bottom, posting a snap of her figure clad in black sportswear with the caption: 'I mean [peach emoji], Birthday Girl @victoriabeckham.'
