I hated my ex-wife so much I moved next door and erected a 12ft-high middle finger statue just to annoy her
A MAN bought the house next to his ex-wife and erected a giant statue outside giving her the middle finger.
Alan Markovitz put the enormous bronze statue of a hand with its middle finger raised on his back porch, aimed at the windows of his ex-wife's house.
The $7,000 statue is almost 12 feet tall, and it even has a spotlight on it so that the neighbors can see it at night.
According to Lenka Tuohy, a woman claiming to be the ex-wife's daughter, the Michigan man allegedly bought the house next door to his ex and moved in with his 17-year-old daughter Tiffany.
“How psychotic do you have to be to buy the house directly next to your ex-wife and then put a statue up like that?!?!" Lenka tweeted, according to The Post — her Twitter account has since gone private.
Markovitz claimed in 2013 that the realtor originally showed him the house next to his ex and her new partner as a coincidence, according to Deadline Detroit.
After that, "karma" took over, as Markovitz claimed the statue was specifically meant for the ex-wife's new partner, with whom she reportedly had an affair during their marriage.
“I’m so over her,” Markovitz told Deadline. “This is about him. This is about him not being a man.”

Markovitz has a big reputation in the area, with some even calling him a "local legend."
He owns three strip clubs in Detroit, and he's even authored a book titled Topless Prophet: The True Story of America's Most Successful Gentleman's Club Entrepreneur, which is set to become a Cinemax TV series.
According to the entrepreneur's website, the infamous statue was eventually sold for a good cause and given a "happy ending."
"Alan's famous statue was sold, and the proceeds [were] given to Heart2Hart Detroit, a non-profit organization providing critical assistance to the homeless," the website states.
Markovitz said in a 2014 Facebook post that he donated $5K to the charity.
"Turning a negative into a positive," he wrote.
