Being in a relationship with a glamorous celebrity is something many of us can only conjure up in our wildest imagination.
However, there have actually been plenty of people out of the limelight who have caught the attention of Hollywood superstars, which has led to successful marriages and children down the line.
Most recently, Loose Women star Coleen Nolan made headlines by introducing her new boyfriend, Michael Jones, after meeting him through the dating app Tinder.
Michael, who works in logistics for a supermarket chain, has been a blessing in disguise for 56 year old Coleen, who is "enjoying" being with him following her divorce from Ray Fensome.
Coleen told OK! in an exclusive interview: “For three or four years, I was absolutely not interested in it happening.
"When I first got divorced from Ray, I thought: ‘That’s it, I’m done!’ And I liked being on my own.
“But then it got to a time when I thought: ‘I’ve got my lovely house and my kids are all grown up with their own partners and it would be nice to meet someone.’"
Now, OK! takes a look at some other stars who have shunned the traditional route of finding love with fellow superstars to go official with ordinary everyday people.
Keanu Reeves and Alexandra Grant
The Matrix actor Keanu Reeves went public with his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant in November 2019.
The star had avoided public displays of affection for much of the duration of his 37-year successful acting career.
However, he proudly held onto the visual artist's hand at their first public red carpet appearance at the LACMA Art + Film Gala.
A source told Us Weekly in March 2020: "Keanu and Alexandra are head over heels for each other. They fit together perfectly, and he really fawns over her when they're together."
Ed Sheeran and Cherry Seaborn
Ed Sheeran is one of the biggest musical talents in the world, while his wife Cherry Seaborn works as an "advisory consultant".
The pair have known each other since high school, where Ed was said to have a crush on her.
They reunited years later while Ed was touring the US and Cherry was living and working in Manhattan, New York.
Ed and Cherry's first date was at Taylor Swift's famous Fourth of July party in Rhode Island in 2015. Ed told People: "I went on tour again, and then I went to Taylor's 4th of July party. I was texting [Cherry], and she was like, 'I'm in Rhode Island at a 4th of July party,' and I was like, 'So am I.'
"I kinda said to Taylor, 'Can I invite one of my old schoolmates?' The rest is history."
They tied the knot in December 2018 and confirmed their marriage the following year.
Katie Price and Carl Woods
From her successful early days as a glamour model to her current troubles, Katie Price is a household name in the UK.
However, she has been known to date men who were not in the public eye before forging a romance with her.
The mother-of-five is currently loved up with personal trainer Carl Woods, who she has been engaged to since April 2021.
Carl Woods, who made a brief appearance in Love Island in 2016, also worked as a car salesman at his family's dealership.
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin
While he was once Hollywood's most lusted after bachelor, George Clooney is now happily married to human rights lawyer Amal.
The pair met through mutual pals at a dinner party in 2013 and married the following year in 2014.
In 2017, the lovebirds welcomed twins Ella and Alexander.
"I met someone who I would absolutely trade my life for," he previously told David Letterman.
He added: "I met someone, who, her life meant more to me than my life. I had never had that experience before."
Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso
Luciana Barroso was working as a bartender in 2003 when Matt Damon and his film crew came into the bar she was working at while taking a break from shooting the 2003 comedy Stuck on You in Miami.
Speaking on the Ellen Degeneres show in 2011, Matt said he "literally saw [Luciana] across a crowded room" and felt like fate was at work.
They married in 2005 and now share four children together. Matt has said the key to their romance is not being apart for more than two weeks.
Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley
Jon Bon Jovi has been married to his high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley for over 30 years, which is an eternity by Hollywood standards.
In 2020, the star told People that the key to their longstanding marriage was "mutual respect".
He added: "Having grown up together and grown together. And we really like each other. We want to hang out."
While Dorothea said of their relationship: "I always said I was good at spotting potential too. I have a gift."
They are parents to four children.
Eddie Redmayne and Hannah Bagshawe
Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne first met his wife Hannah Bagshawe at a charity fashion show while they were in boarding school in 2000.
They were friends for 12 years before Eddie invited PR executive Hannah to visit him while shooting the film Les Misérables. It was there they fell in love.
The parents-of-two tied the knot in 2015, with Eddie later declaring the first year of marriage "the most wonderful whirlwind."
Gal Gadot and Yaron Varsano
She has forged a hugely successful Hollywood career thanks to her role as Wonder Woman – but Gal Gadot has been married to real estate developer Yaron Varsano for 14 years.
In an interview with Glamour, the former beauty pageant queen said they met "at this very strange party in the Israeli desert", which was centred on wellness and holistic healing.
Kevin Jonas and Danielle Jonas
While his brother Joe Jonas has married Game Of Thrones star Sophie Turner and Nick Jonas has wed Bollywood's Priyanka Chopra, Kevin Jonas has been happily married to Danielle Deleasa since 2009.
The low-key hairdresser had no idea that Kevin would shoot to stardom as part of The Jonas Brothers when she met him in 2007.
She went on to star in the reality series, Married To Jonas. The pair share two children.
