You might want to look away if you’re a fan of the prancing horse.

Ferrari devotees will be pouring one out for this rare Enzo, worth an estimated £2.5million, after it crashed into a tree.

Heartbreaking pictures show the crumpled supercar on top of a recovery truck in Baarn, a town just south of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

To make matters worse, local reports suggest a dealership mechanic was behind the wheel.

If those reports prove to be accurate, there will be one extremely upset owner.

The driver reportedly escaped unhurt but was taken to the hospital for a check-up.

An eyewitness said: ‘The local Ferrari dealer is about two kilometres away from the scene. It’s a customer-owned car.

‘The weather conditions were damp and chilly, maybe three degrees in temperature.

‘It hit a tree stump at the side of the road. It crashed on the passenger side and the stump was damaged.

‘I’m not sure how it happened, but I think he wanted to turn right back to the dealership.’

Just 400 Enzos left the Ferrari production line between 2002 and 2004.

It cost an eye-watering £450,000 when it was launched, but the cars have since massively increased in value.

One Enzo from 2003 was sold by the auction house Sotheby’s in August last year for $3,360,000 (£2,463,132).
