Love Island's Katie Salmon announces she's six months pregnant with first child

Katie Salmon has announced she's six months pregnant with her first child with new fiancé Harry.

The 26 year old, who found fame on the second season of Love Island, took to her Instagram feed to share the news to her 262,000 followers with a sweet video.

The clip sees the reality star going to her doctor to see the initial scan, where the image zooms in to show the baby's heart beat.

As Ed Sheeran's Small Bump plays in the background, scenes show the couple celebrating New Year's Eve in Thailand, where Harry asked her to marry him, with her blossoming baby bump in full view.

In the caption, she told her fans: "Been Busy Creating Life," followed by a baby emoji, a sparkling stars emoji and a red heart emoji.

The TV personality continued: "First came love, then came you! [stars emoji] 6 months pregnant with our biggest blessing.

"I’ve kept this between close friends and family for a while but my beautiful baby bump is getting hard to hide.

"We love you so much already baby and cannot wait to meet you."

She added: "I couldn’t do this journey with anybody else other than my best friend. 2022 my favourite year off all, The year I marry my love and we become a family."

Katie went on to share on her Instagram story: "I really wanted to keep it magical and between us until now. I felt like the time was right to share are blessing with the world.

"It's been a rollercoaster but am so happy and blessed. Thank you all so much for the love it means the world to us. We can't wait to meet you baby," with pink hearts and a baby emoji.

Celebrity friends were quick to comment as Shelby Tribble wrote: "Congratulations," with a stars emoji.

Hannah Elizabeth shared: "Omg congrats babe so so happy for you," with a heart eyes emoji and 13 red heart emojis, while Olivia Bowen, who is also pregnant, said: "BABE. So happy for you guys," alongside a red heart emoji and a praying hands emoji.

Katie's news comes just three weeks after she announced she's set to be married after Harry popped the question in Thailand.

Sharing a snap of herself holding up her hand with the ring on, she wrote: "HE ASKED ME TO BE HIS WIFE [crying emoji, red heart emoji] My best friend, my twin flame, The love of my life asked me to marry him and made me the happiest girl alive!!!!

"My baby, we’ve been through so much together and built so much, I cannot wait to share this next chapter with you and take your hand in marriage forever. I love you so much I have no other words to say! The best Christmas … YES, YES YES @itsdirtybastard," alongside a red heart emoji.
