Willow Smith showed off her androgynous sense of style as she performed at the 2022 iHeartRadio ALTer EGO event on Saturday evening.

The 21-year-old singer wore a tiny black skater skirt that displayed her long legs, which were clad in tattoo sleeve tights, as she posed for photos at the Los Angeles event. 

She teamed the garment with a simple white shirt with a loose fitted tie, the sleeves rolled up to show off her impressive ink collection on her arms.

She finished the look off with chunky black boots, which she paired with black leg warmers.

The daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith sported her signature shaved head, and added a swipe of dramatic eyeliner to highlight her striking eyes.

She took to the stage with boundless energy and showed off her impressive vocals to the crowd, as she belted out tracks from her latest album

The musician has spoken to V Magazine about how she hopes Lately I Feel Everything, will help inspire Black women to get involved in rock music.  

She said: 'Through the music that I'm putting out right now and the representation that I can bring to the mix.

'I just hope that the Black girls that are listening to my music and listening to this album see that there's more of us out there.'

It comes after the star recently told The Independent that she suffered anxiety attacks after releasing her hit single Whip My Hair back in 2010.

Willow was just nine years old at the time and struggled to deal with her success and fame.

She told the publication: ‘That was crazy. I was brainwashed into thinking, “no, you’re being a brat, suck it up.”

‘Then I grew up, and I realised it was something that needed to be dealt with.’

She soon turned to exercise as a means to help her anxiety, esepcially during lockdown, and admits she became a little 'obsessive'.

She explained: ‘I didn’t allow myself to feel [anxiety], I just wanted to run it out. Sometimes the body is so intelligent.’
