All the brand new And Just Like That fashion you *need* to see as Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda return to our screens
Eighteen years since we'd last been given a glimpse of Carrie Bradshaw and co., Sex and the City returned in 2021 under a new guise; And Just Like That. Eighteen months later and we've *finally* got our hands on season two of the epic spin-off show…
Of course (spoiler warning!) we know that Big won't be returning, but it's Kim Cattrall's name that's on everyone's lips.
Having left a gaping hole in season one due to her absence, we were all delighted to hear that she is making a much-anticipated return this season. Unfortunately, it seems, this is only via a single phone call, but we'll take all the Samantha Jones action we can get at this stage.
So did Sarah Jessica Parker apologise or…?
Of course, what fashion fans really want to know comes down to matters of the wardrobe.
Will Carrie Bradshaw forever be a Manolo Blahnik devotee? Does she still love a floral brooch? And a studded belt? What about her handbag collection, is it still littered with incredible Fendi baguettes?
Did you spot them?
Is Charlotte York-Goldenblatt still super into pink? Does she still love a pencil skirt and a court shoe? Do skinny waist belts still form the backbone of her wardrobe? And, of course, giant sunglasses?
Is Miranda Hobbes still queen of the power suit? Has she bought any more epic velvet blazers? Does she still layer like an absolute pro and experiment with unexpectedly bright hues?
Of course, there are a handful of new characters whose wardrobes we obsessed over in season one; and none more so than Nicole Ari Parker, who takes on the role of Lisa Todd Wexley, documentarian and mother of three.
The SATC gals are back again!
Unfortunately the original iconic stylist behind Sex and the city, Patricia Field, wasn't able to work on the reboot- originally due to the clash in schedules with Emily in Paris (which she'd already signed up to style) - but luckily her protégée, Molly Rogers, was available to step up to the plate and fill the very large, but impossibly chic, shoes. And Molly's back with a bang for season two, with lots of layering, colour and one *particularly* nostalgic wedding dress…
Scroll down to see some of the major fashion moments that we're obsessing over from season two of And Just Like That… As well as some of the stand-out looks from season one.
