Britney Spears has shared a new Instagram post calling out her family for their role in her thirteen-year-long conservatorship, saying that she has played the "bigger person" for long enough and is now seeking "justice" against them.

Her father, Jamie Spears, was recently removed from his role as conservator of the estate and in a court hearing set for 12 November, it's expected that Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, will articulate a case against Jamie's part in the legal contract. Britney has publicly accused her father of abuse, over-working her and coercive control, even restricting her from having an IUD removed in order to try for a baby.

In her new post, alongside an image of an old-fashioned type writer and a bunch of roses (the flower has become a symbol of freedom for the singer), Britney made reference to people who have cancelled plans on her, or cut their time together short.

"Don't you find it weird when you jump through hoops to organize trips or set up lunch dates with people you love only to know they'll bail on you or leave after 10 minutes 🙄 ??? It's humiliating and it's like every person I've ever opened [up] to immediately says they'll be gone on a trip for two weeks after," she began.

"OK I get it, they're only available to me when it's convenient for them... well I'm no longer available to any of them now 🙅🏼‍♀️ !!! I don't mind being alone ... and actually I'm tired of being this understanding Mother Teresa. If you're rude to me then I'm done."

Britney then continued on to make clear who her post is directed towards: "This message is to my family, for hurting me deeper than you'll ever know !!! I know the conservatorship is about to be over but I still want justice! I'm only 5'4" and I've played the bigger person my entire life... do you know how hard that is?"

She also recently had a low-key shady response to the news that her sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, is set to release a tell-all book.

The singer, who recently became engaged to her fiancé Sam Asghari, later followed her post up by pulling out the line "I'm only 5'4" and I've played the bigger person my entire life... do you know how hard that is?" and creating a separate upload dedicated to it:

Following his most recent court appearance last month, Britney's lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, addressed a crowd of Free Britney supporters gathered outside the Stanley Mosk Courthouse in LA and made it clear that he was keen for Britney's father to face "serious" consequences, should it be proven that he abused his position of power.

"Jamie Spears and others are going to face even more serious ramifications for his misconduct," Rosengart told the crowd. "I said at the outset that my firm and I were going to take a top to bottom look at what Jamie Spears and his representatives have done here, that's already in process and will continue... to get justice for Britney."
