A newly-divorced billionaire is now dating an Instagram diet guru half his age.
John Paulson, 65, is said to be seeing Alina de Almeida, 33, after filing for divorce from his 50-year-old wife on Monday, it is claimed.
John - who is worth $4.7billion (£3.4billion) - has split with his wife of 21 years Jenny due to "irreconcilable differences", according to court documents filed in New York.
The break up could be one of the most expensive of all time as the couple didn't arrange a prenup before their wedding, Page Six reports.
The billionaire's new love interest, Alina de Almeida, 33, from Montclair, New Jersey, runs diet company Effective Lifestyle.
She often appears on the company's Instagram feed posing in workout gear and offering nutrition advice.
Insiders say John met Alina over the summer, and the couple are already shacked up at his flash apartment on Fifth Avenue.
A source told PageSix, “John does have a new, much younger girlfriend and while it is still early days, the relationship is blossoming. They are very happy".
John made his $20billion (£14.5billion) fortune in property betting against the housing market before the 2008 global recession.
He is said to be personally worth at least $4.7billion (£3.4billion), but many experts say his fortune is much higher.
Both John and Jenny have hired top tier New York divorce lawyers, Page Six reports.
“There’s no prenup, and John gathered most of his fortune during their marriage, so this is going to be an epic, wildly expensive divorce,” one source told the website.
The couple married in 2000 while Jenny worked as John's assistant.
Sources say the couple have grown apart over the past 15 years and have been "living different lives".
Among the couple's property portfolio is an enormous townhouse on the Upper East Side, purchased for just shy of £15million in 2004.
They also have a $42million (£30.6million) property in Long Island, and a $24.5million (£17.8million) home in Aspen.
