Hey! I work in a nursery & this is completely normal for some children to do this… I think it’s the guilt trip! We make sure the kids always have fun activities to do & obviously offer lots of love when upset so her being upset doesn’t necessarily mean something is wrong with the nursery. If you get good vibes from the people looking after her this should be a reassurance to you.
Great advice here- very reassuring words. Its nice to know there's brilliant nursery staff, such as yourself out there ))I managed a preschool for 19 years and crying does happen and often as soon as parents go the child will settle to an activity and be fine the rest of the day. Going only once or twice a week makes settling more difficult because in between her sessions she has forgotten the fun she had last week. Please persevere it’s worth it for both of you.
