Chantelle Houghton and Preston — real name Samuel Preston — fell head over heels for one another during their stint on the fourth series of Celebrity Big Brother.

Now, almost 15 years down the line, Chantelle reveals the pair are still close, exclusively telling new magazine earlier this year that they share a “brother-sister” friendship. "There’s nothing there anymore,” the former reality star insists. “We just have this bond after everything that we went through. It was really unique.”

For some pure nostalgia we bring you ALL the pictures from Chantelle and Preston's big day, which was of course covered by OK!. To see all the gorgeous snaps, sign up for FREE below.

The 37 year old admits she got “swept away” in the whirlwind of fame after leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house, saying she felt like she was “living in crazy world” once the show ended.

“It’s horrible being in a relationship in the public eye,” Chantelle discloses. “I live a very grounded, normal life now and I love it,” she adds.

Chantelle also says that her new hubby-to-be Michael Strutt is “a normal bloke” and that she “loves” that about him.

Looking back on her marriage to Preston, Chantelle doesn’t seem to have any regrets.

“Don’t get me wrong I was completely in love with him at the time and I felt like it was forever,” she says. “I didn’t take the vows lightly.”

“I was young and naive back then,” she admits, adding that people “change.”

“I’ve definitely got less confident as I’ve gotten older. I could never go into Big Brother now and do what I did back then!”

Admittedly, it was pretty ballsy to enter Celebrity Big Brother as the only non-famous person with a secret mission to convince her housemates she fronted the imaginary girl band Kandy Floss.

Chantelle, who was just 22 when she won the show, reveals that even today Preston is “a big deal” to her.

Here we look back on their wedding which took place in London back in August 2006.

After leaving the house, Preston and Chantelle’s blossoming romance took off as the pair began dating in the real world — much to fans’ delight.

It wasn’t long (around two months) before Preston popped the question and the pair were engaged.

With the date set and a lavish town house booked, reality TV’s hottest couple prepared to tie the knot.

Chantelle shocked everyone with a dramatic hair transformation on the day. Known for her platinum blonde hair, the young star had celebrity stylist Richard Ward transform her into a blushing brunette.

She walked down the aisle on the arm of her father, Alan and was gowned in a stunning duchess satin wedding dress — designed by none other than Elizabeth Emanuel. Yes, the selfsame genius behind Princess Diana’s infamous wedding couture.

Preston awaited his bride while decked out in his own finery — a Gresham Blake suit — and the pair said their vows in front of 50 guests.

After a night of fun, fizz and fish and chips, the couple embarked on what they hoped would be their fairytale romance.

Unfortunately, under the pressure of the public eye, the pair started to break apart.

After just 10 months, they agreed to call time on their marriage and released a statement where they vowed to stay friends.

And it seems they’ve kept their word. Chantelle reveals that Preston is “more than welcome” to attend her wedding next year although she admits she “doubts” he’ll come.

When we ask what Michael thinks of the arrangement she says, “He’s absolutely fine about it. He knows Preston’s part of my past and he just knows that we’re solid. He trusts me completely and I trust him completely.”

Sounds to us like the perfect partnership. Here’s hoping Chantelle’s finally found her forever.
