EastEnders fans spot clue Lee Carter, Nancy and Johnny will return in Frankie twist

EASTENDERS' Frankie Carter enjoyed her first bonding session with dad Mick Carter in tonight's episode and fans are convinced this has signalled the return of Lee Carter, Nancy Carter and Johnny Carter.

EastEnders: Frankie says she ‘needs to get out’

Mick Carter (played by Danny Dyer) is determined to put things right with Frankie Lewis (Rose Ayling-Lewis) and welcome her into the Carters fold. The former Queen Vic landlord opened up about his other children Lee Carter (Danny Hatchard), Nancy Carter (Maddy Hill) and Johnny Carter (Ted Reilly) in a bid to make her feel at home. But EastEnders fans suspect the siblings will return to meet the new addition to their family in person.

In tonight’s instalment, Mick prepared a meal for his long-lost daughter as the pair got to know each other.

“You, my sweet have had a touch,” Mick said. “Why do I feel like I’m on a first date?”

“I know what you mean,” she agreed.

“So this is a family favourite it’s meat and potato pie,” Mick said.

“My Nancy can eat four in about 30 seconds. Nancy is your half-sister she lives in New Zealand.”

“I should have got my flight nipped over and tracked her down,” Frankie joked.

“Forgot the sauces,” the former Queen Vic landlord said before reaching for the cupboard. “What do you want red or brown?”

“Both,” Frankie said her father asked: “What do you mean like both together?”

“It’s gross I know,” she replied and he said: “No it’s not gross it’s mad because that’s exactly how I have it.”

Later, Mick introduced Frankie to her siblings by talking her through a family portrait.

“This is Johnny,” he began. “He’s the brains of the outfit which isn’t saying much because we’re all a bit thick.

“This is Lee he’s in Dover. He’s found a girl mug enough to have him.”

“I do every day,” Mick replied. “But they’re happy and they’re living their lives. What more could I ask for?”

Could Franke’s introduction into the Carters lead to Lee, Johnny and Nancy returning?

EastEnders fans suspected the siblings could return to meet Frankie as one said: “I still think we might get a permanent Lee return at some point this year tbh #EastEnders.”

Another tweeted: “Bring back Lee, Nancy and Johnny! #EastEnders.”

A third added: “Now we need Shirley/Nancy/Johnny/Lee & Linda to meet Frankie Now. Sad she can’t meet Tina properly now as her niece. And she can hang out with Ollie as Brother and sister!! I’m so excited for these scenes @bbceastenders #Eastenders.”

Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) and Mick visited Lee over the Christmas period and it’s clear he’s still very close with his dad.

Could Mick reach out to his son to help him make Frankie feel settled into the family?

EastEnders continues on BBC One on Friday at 8.05pm.
