Sir Keir has been clear on antisemitism, Black Lives Matter and coronavirus, but will he take seats from the Tories?

Yet some in government are confident that in the coming years Sir Keir will be unable to match Boris Johnson's skills as a charismatic campaigner or be willing to argue against the PM's central policy agenda: investing in infrastructure in the Midlands and north of England.

Andrew Fisher wrote the party's 2017 and 2019 election manifestos and says that with unemployment rising sharply and the chancellor announcing unprecedented economic interventions, there is room for radicalism. One hundred days in, it is unclear if Keir Starmer is best compared to Neil Kinnock or Tony Blair, two of his predecessors who reformed Labour but with varying degrees of electoral success.

Nah

Lads, the activists at sky news have come up with a corker today......

No, because it's rubbish. We know that because you said it.

He hasn't been clear on AS, he has been selective. Left wing RLB sacked. Centrist SteveReedMP NOT sacked Taking the knee for BLM but not dealing with centrist racists against BAME exposed in leaked party doc Labour Party 10 points behind in polls Honeymoon? why so positive?

Honeymoon ? Is that a joke !!!

What does Keir_Starmer know about the hardships of the working class? He’s privileged, the hardest he’s ever worked for very little money is washing his dads limo when he was a kid for £500 pocket money..,.probably from tax payers wallets too

To the original question the answer is YES

Significantly! They’re still 10 points behind the Tories.

Mr Dull and Boring

One of Keir Starmer’s failings and Boris Johnson’s assets is that Keir looks like a formal conventional chap, Boris doesn’t.

He couldn't earn enough legal money being a qc so he dropped into corbyns shoes for easy money, fiddling expenses and do nothing for it, just like corbyn easy money, easy life, you all make me sick, not one of you are honest, you're all born to lie through your teeth.

Meh, England elected a fucking muppet by a landslide, not much chance they’ll come to their senses.

As long as he keeps doing what hes doing - yes!

We want Labour PM please

He began well, made me think all wasn't lost with Labour. But then he started allowing the baying mob to dictate his conscience & now we've lost him to the bandwagon. He's a more polished & politically savvy version of Corbyn but the Momentum org still pull his strings!🥀

'Clear' *spits out coffee*

As a Leader of the Opposition is meant to be. Labour desperately needed someone who aims to deliver, not someone who aims to put on a show. The Left should be celebrating Labour having leadership that finally puts competency first.

It will be issues like immigration that will make or brake Labour with the working class.

Another sky Starmer lovefest

He'd better stop dropping to his knee if he wants a sniff of number 10

I prefer PMs who comb their hair.

For which party? Interchangable

Ahh Mr Hindsight 🤣

Keir Starmer needs a bolder vision – being the grownup in the room isn't enough | Andy BeckettThe Labour leader’s minimalist, methodical approach is beating Johnson’s chaos so far. But where are the big ideas, asks Guardian columnist Andy Beckett Lol maybe labour could stop being shit lmao He’s an idiot but thinks he’s a clever man. What could possibly go wrong.. Keir_Starmer Starmer needs...to go. He has been a huge disappointment on so many levels. Seems to be in a contest to be further right than Blair. Again and again, his rhetoric and action show him to be right wing. Farage even retweeted him, ffs.

Keir Starmer faces a daunting challenge. But opportunities beckon for LabourIt’s a long road back but the leader has made his mark and the new political agenda – health and work – is home territory for the party No. He’s not a libertarian so won’t make & follow through on the committments he’d have to make now. Completely scrap the COVID regime in its entirety & commit wholeheartedly to never restricting liberty in that way again.
