Researchers warn land inequality is rising with farmland increasingly dominated by a few major companies

One per cent of the world’s farms operate 70% of crop fields, ranches and orchards, according to a report that highlights the impact of land inequality on the climate and nature crises.

They are starving out local farmers. They use their services until the open their own source and then the farmers lose out even more.

Saying that big farms are bad for enviromment and small farmers are susteinable is a grat deal of desinformation! It's only aplly for USA or Europe if so. That is a big desinformation.

Dies this take into account the huge farms in, say, the Australian outback which can be the size of small countries? The largest is over 23000 square km. Surely that distorts the outcome?

Well, if you want 7B people you need a well run system.

Looks like a great leverage point.

Seems like more of a capitalism issue than a farming issue.
