UNITED NATIONS: Turkey’s leader, overseeing a nation encircled by regional disputes, used his speech at the UN General Assembly on Tuesday (Sep 20) to shine a spotlight on Turkish maneuvering in conflicts tha

“All these disasters affecting millions of people show the United Nations will have to be much more effective, much more influential,” he said.

Turkey, he noted, has also hosted 4 million Syrian refugees in that country's long-running war. At one point during his speech, Erdogan held up a photo of dead Syrian refugee children to emphasize the need for continued support.

One other Erdogan has balls, he dosn't mince his words. Take for instance a Russian Jet over Turkey, he warned Russia they never listened he ordered it to be shot down. Period

He's saying not only on the stage but off it. For example Antony Blenkin has been more procrastinating than ever in his speech's. The same thing over and over again, no real emphasis on anything. The longer he delays he may be detrimental to the outcome of this war

They already are... UN is just a proxy for US, most funding come from US, HQ location in US... enuff said.

They can’t - countries just veto what didn’t suit their agenda
