In mid-December last year, China’s Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced that all artiste managers who wish to work there will have to take a new test to certify themselves.

They also specified that artiste managers from Hongkong, Macau and Taiwan will have to comply as well. Fang Fang said that the new regulations are"justified”, and that if artiste managers are unwilling to go with it, then they would not be welcomed in China.Like many other veteran celebs working in China, Fang Fang is also active on Douyin

“The way to do so is very simple, and that’s to unify the the two sides of the Straits, and allow the elders from our motherland to take care of these kids, these seedlings, so that they will not grow up crooked, ” she said.“If a child is reasonable, then we can hear what he has to say; but if the child is unreasonable, sometimes, he needs two slaps to know what’s truly powerful,” she said, adding that she hopes to be able to witness the peaceful reunification of Taiwan and China one day.
