Share via E-Mail Bookmark SINGAPORE: National swimmer Yip Pin Xiu claimed her second gold medal at the 2019 World Para Swimming Championships on Friday (Sep 13) by winning the 50m backstroke S2. Yip finished the race in London more than 9 seconds ahead of runner-up Italian Angela Procida, the Singapore Disability Sports Council said in a media release on Saturday. Advertisement Advertisement She clocked a time of 1 minute and 4.43 seconds, just 0.25 seconds shy of her season best. Being a double-world champion makes me really happy," she said of her victory.
