SINGAPORE: Singapore badminton player Loh Kean Yew upset world number 8 Lee Zii Jia in the opening round of the men's singles event at the French Open on Tuesday (Oct 27).Loh, who is ranked 40th in the world, beat the Malaysian 24-22, 21-14 to move on to the next round. Lee is the current All-England champion and had also beaten Loh at the 2019 Southeast Asian Games final.
