The Ministry of Health (MOH) on Sunday (20 June) confirmed the detection of 11 new cases of COVID-19 infection in Singapore, taking the country's total case count to 62,414.

Four infections are linked to past cases, out of which three have already been placed on quarantine while one was detected through surveillance. The remaining five cases are currently unlinked.There are also two imported cases, including one returning Singaporean. All the imported cases have been placed on Stay-Home Notice since their arrival in the country.

In its nightly update on Saturday, MOH addedfive new cases to the 115 Bukit Merah View Market & Food Centre cluster.These comprised two cases who were already quarantined – a 42-year-old Singaporean woman and a 45-year-old female permanent resident – and three cases who were detected through surveillance – an 81-year-old Singaporean man, a 41-year-old Indonesian woman and a 35-year-old Singaporean woman.
