For some reason, the Star Wars fanbase has an issue with diversity in space and that, said Simon Pegg, is 'really sad'.

“To be honest — and as someone who kind of was, you know, kicked off about the prequels when they came out, thefanbase really seems to be the most kind of toxic at the moment,” said Pegg, 52, who had a brief cameo in 2015’sAnd Pegg knows this all too well because he was part of the lynch mob that went afterprequels with extreme prejudice, notably the Jar Jar Binks character played by Ahmed Best in 1999’s“I’ve apologised for the things I said about, you know, Jar Jar Binks,” said Pegg.
