sg/w2EH MOSCOW (AFP) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Sunday (May 29) denied speculation that President Vladimir Putin was ill, saying there were no signs pointing to any ailment.Mr Putin's health and private life are taboo subjects in Russia, and are almost never discussed in public.He reiterated Moscow's claims that its"special military operation" in Ukraine is to demilitarise its neighbour after waves of NATO's eastward expansion and cleanse it of what it sees as"Nazi"-inspired nationalism.Answering a question from France's broadcaster TF1, Russia's top diplomat said:"I don't think that sane people can see in this person signs of some kind of illness or ailment."Russia is ready to help find options for the unhindered export of grain, including the export of Ukrainian grain from the Black Sea ports," Mr Putin told French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the Kremlin said."
