Some people run to get fit, and some people run to relieve stress. This year, some will be running for a chance to go to Las Vegas, courtesy of the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon .
Organised by The IRONMAN Group, SCSM 2021 will showcase two Grand Finale celebrations – the in-person Grand Finale on Dec 4 and 5 at The Float @ Marina Bay, and the VR Grand Finale that takes place between Dec 1 and 12 on theTo spice things up, local participants can also look forward to the START HERE, FINISH HERE contest where they will stand a chance to win a trip for two to race at the 2022in-person event at Las Vegas, Nevada, in February.
To increase their chances of winning the Las Vegas trip, participants are encouraged to take part in as many VR events as possible. Each event entitles the participant to one chance, and a maximum of seven chances will be awarded if participants are able to complete all seven events of the SCSM Grand Finale, both in-person and VR – giving them a good shot at the grand prize.
After the races on Saturday, Rock ‘n’ Roll Running Series participants won’t be resting their aching feet – instead, they’ll be at the Downtown Saturday night festival, while Sunday night is reserved for the event’s signature Come as You Are Party.
