Most people don't know the sacrifices that elite athletes make to reach the pinnacle of their sport since childhood - education, social life, away from family and friends etc. Singapore should be proud of Joseph Schooling Respect Olympics2021

It is a reality in everybody life to have a golden horse once !! Due to some reasons !! He has delivered his good effort for Spore !! Thanks !! He shld be given a chance to pursuit whatever Que Sera Sera goes !!

He is the Proud of the Nation and Inspired Many! and the best ! some should take sample of his courage, discipline and determination instead of just tweet because you can think, what have you done? is your name on book of records? then have some respect and try understand!

You did good. Proud of you.

You are a role model for the youngsters, and there are negative and positive people in the world.

Look at the G. Back in 2016, they were fast to claim Joseph’s gold medal. Now that Joseph didnt make it past the heats, all the G do is telling Jo to be positive and telling people to stop being negative. Why cant the G share the same love as 5yrs ago? Pot calling kettle black.

if u can love u too can hate. it works both way.. conclusion: everybody loves a winner.period. isnt tat wat meritocracy is all abt. isnt tat wat our academic selection is all abt.

Don.t be sad you are doing well already

u did great 3 🥰 !

Sometime thinking back, it is not about the athlete poor performance, but how the 4-5 years preparation by the system resulted and could not even maintain/sustain the performance ?

Grow up why feel hurtful. Do better next time!

All the negative commentators can simply STFU! U win u lose at times. Just look at PAPSingapore hahahaha. Joseph is already under a lot of pressure to deliver. So he did not get the medal, so what? Life goes on bitches!

Can they also tell my civil service bosses to stop giving me a hurtful D grading during performance review please?

There will be trolls like that. BUT do also know that there are people who are so proud of you and what you have achieved for our Country!! Rock on dude!! ✌️✌️👏👏👏

Turn to Jesus, we've all sinned & we're all evil, we stand trial for the evil we've done in front of our judge who is God, no judge frees people for their good deeds, only perfect or forgiven people make it, stop sinning, he's coming back soon, he paid for your sins, God bless.

We are proud of and grateful for what you had achieved despite little support from the beginning, an inspiration to all young and old here who love sports

Nothing wrong with him, as his adversaries had became Formidable especially China swimmers that swam like shark-speed even Americans and Australian were beaten Agapely!

It is ok to loose, but not at that kind of result. No respect for the Olympics. While I am not a sport person, we need to have empathy and grace for those that gave their all and did not win. Winning is a bonus but the journey towards that is what matters (Spirit of Excellence) Let’s support our local talents regardless of the results☺️ Be nice and kind to our athletes regardless of their results. Only with a supportive culture, can we have a strong sport team in the future. They have put in their best efforts at Tokyo 2020 Olympics. My congratulations to all. Cya at the next Olympics again. Cheers.
