NYC will require COVID-19 vaccination proof for indoor dining, gyms
BookmarkNew York City will soon require proof of COVID-19 vaccinations for indoor activities, Mayor Bill de Blasio announced Tuesday (Aug 3), making it the first big city in the United States to impose such restrictions. The new requirement, which will go into effect Aug 16, applies to indoor dining, gyms and indoor entertainment venues.

"We know this is what's going to turn the tide," de Blasio told a news conference."If you're vaccinated ... you have the key, you can open the door. But if you're unvaccinated, unfortunately, you will not be able to participate many things." headtopics.com

About 66 per cent of adults in New York City are fully vaccinated, according to official data.Advertisement Read more: CNA »
