SINGAPORE — Monthly school fees for Singapore permanent residents and international students in government and government-aided schools are set to increase by up to $150 for the next two years, said the Ministry of Education on Thursday .

"The release of planned fee increases for non-citizens over the next two years will enable parents to plan for the financing of their children’s studies in MOE schools," said an MOE spokesperson. For secondary school fees, this amounts to a rise of about 10 per cent in 2022, and around 9 per cent the following year. Pre-university fees will go up by around 8 per cent and 7 per cent in each year, respectively. INFOGRAPHIC: Ministry of Education
