NEW YORK: News organisations demanded an explanation on Saturday for an Israeli airstrike that targeted and destroyed a Gaza City building housing the offices of the Associated Press, broadcaster Al-Jazeera and other media outlets.
Israeli military spokesman Lt Col Jonathan Conricus claimed that Hamas used the building for a military intelligence office and weapons development. He alleged “a highly advanced technological tool” that the militant group used in the fighting was “within or on the building". Some press freedom advocates said the strike raised suspicions that Israel was trying to hinder coverage of the conflict. The New York-based Committee to Protect Journalists demanded Israel “provide a detailed and documented justification” for the strike.
Israeli military commentators said the media had been used in a ruse to lure Hamas militants into a deadly trap. Conricus denied that the military engaged in a deliberate deception when it tweeted falsely Friday that ground forces were engaging in Gaza, calling it “an honest mistake”.
Unfair to the Israelis coz Hamas can do whatever they want shooting missiles at Israel and destroying buildings and killing civilians.

I think Hamas will soon be setting their headquarters in or beside hospitals. People do not look at the root cause of the issues, and just point their fingers. Maybe its easier that way?

some say they were warned & given 1 hour while al jezeera puts it as 10 minutes. who is lying about the 1 hour or 10 minutes i dont know but this i know, the israeli citizens were given only 2 minutes to evacuated by their own warning system as thousands of rockets rain down.

Now it’s out of control. And China leads the way in UN. Time to get rid of the autocratic vetoes within the security council that are Undemocratic. It should be a majority vote wins. And security council should be expanded to reflect the 21st century.
