Girls' Generation Kwon Yuri will star in independent film 'Dolphin'.

– Girls' Generation Kwon Yuri is set to make her big screen comeback via the independent film, "Dolphin".

According to Kyunghang, the news was confirmed by SM Entertainment on 14 September, saying that Yuri has confirmed to appear in the independent film as the main lead, to be directed by Bae Doo-Ri. Yuri will play the role of Na-Yeong, a small town local news reporter who has never left the area. However, things begin to change as she learns to open the door of her heart and gaining hope.

Yuri has starred in multiple TV dramas for the past few years, including the 2021 MBN series, "Bossam: Steal the Fate". However, her last film was back in 2013, when she starred in the sports-related movie, "No Breathing".
